Craigielaw Golf Club

Day 2
Play at Craigielaw
Craigielaw is situated just 20 miles east of Edinburgh amidst the glorious coastal scenery of East Lothian, Scotland. Inspired by great links courses, particularly those on land which are less dominated by dunes, Craigielaw is equal to many of the finest examples of such courses which are conveniently located nearby in the East Lothian area. The new clubhouse is a stunning contemporary building, formed with the former steading. This is a fantastic course build in the true Scottish “Links” style. The excellent facilities at Craigielaw also include a full size “grass” driving range, a beautiful manicured 6 hole par 3 course and it is the home of the Eric Grandison Golf School.

Longniddry Golf Course

Day 3
Play at Longniddry
Among the courses lining the Forth estuary, Longniddry stands out for its mix of links and parkland. 6260 yards may not seem long but with no par 5´s and eight 400+ par 4´s , this is a stiff challenge, particularly in west wind, leaving no doubt why the course has been an Open qualifying venue.
Special feature – The signature hole 5th is a relatively short dogleg par four of 310 yards to a two tier green. This hole has trees on both sides of the fairway, as well as the apex of the dogleg. Recently voted in the “Top 18 Scottish Hidden Gems”.

The Glen North Berwick

Day 4
Play at The Glen North Berwick       Established 1728
The Glen Golf Club, North Berwick plays its golf on the East Links in North Berwick, in the heart of the famous Edinburgh Golf Coast. Described by Golf Monthly as “.. one of the most underrated and best values courses in Scotland”, this spectacular and quality par 70 course offers all-year-round golf at affordable prices for players of all ages and abilities.
The course signature hole, The Sea Hole, nestles amongst the rocks and the beach in the shadow of the famous Bass Rock bird sanctuary, featured regularly by BBC TV. The par three is included in Golf World´s “Dream 18 holes” and graces the cover of the popular book “The Most Extraordinary Golf Holes in Britain.” A memorable round reaches a stunning climax with a drive from the elevated 18th tee offering spectacular views of North Berwick, the Firth of Forth and its famous islands which include Fidra, the inspiration for Robert Louis Stephenson´s “Treasure Island”
A golfing venue not to be missed!

Royal Musselburgh Golf Club

Day 5
Play at Royal Musselburgh       Established 1774
The Royal Musselburgh Golf Club is one of the oldest clubs in the world . This parkland course was designed by James Braid and in contrast to many of East Lothian´s courses offers golfers views of Edinburgh and Arthur´s Seat. The golfing challenge comes on the homeward stretch where a series of par 4´s are well protected by trees. The magnificent clubhouse has a superb collection of golfing memorabilia which includes the oldest “hole cutter” in the world.

Dunbar Golf Course

Day 6
Play at Dunbar       Established 1856
Dunbar designed by Old Tom Morris around 1850. Dunbar East Links situated on the estuary of the Firth of Forth, is a breathtaking layout of a championship links course that stretches across 6404 yards of coastal terrain. All of the major Scottish championship have been played here, the Scottish Amateur, Professional Championship and Scottish Boys Championship and the course has been used as an Open qualifier on several occasions in recent years. This is a classic links course with outstanding views of the May Island and the Firth of Forth.

Craigielaw Golf Course

Day 7

Craigielaw is situated just 20 miles east of Edinburgh amidst the glorious coastal scenery of East Lothian, Scotland.
