Craigielaw Golf Club

Day 2
18 holes Craigielaw

2 hours golf clinic with PGA Professional Eric Grandison.
Craigielaw is situated just 20 miles east of Edinburgh amidst the glorious coastal scenery of East Lothian, Scotland. Inspired by great links courses, particularly those on land which are less dominated by dunes, Craigielaw is equal to many of the finest examples of such courses which are conveniently located nearby in the East Lothian area. The new clubhouse is a stunning contemporary building, formed with the former steading. This is a fantastic course build in the true Scottish “links” style. The excellent facilities at Craigielaw also include a full size “grass” driving range, a beautiful manicured 6 hole par 3 course and it is the home of the Eric Grandison Golf School.

The Glen

Day 3
18 holes The Glen

The Glen Golf Club, North Berwick plays its golf on the East Links in North Berwick, in the heart of the famous Edinburgh Golf Coast. Described by Golf Monthly as “.. one of the most underrated and best values courses in Scotland”, this spectacular and quality par 70 course offers all-year-round golf for players of all ages and abilities. The course signature hole, The Sea Hole, nestles amongst the rocks and the beach in the shadow of the famous Bass Rock bird sanctuary, featured regularly by BBC TV. The par three is included in Golf World´s “Dream 18 holes” and graces the cover of the popular book “The Most Extraordinary Golf Holes in Britain.” A memorable round reaches a stunning climax with a drive from the elevated 18th tee offering spectacular views of North Berwick, the Firth of Forth and its famous islands which include Fidra, the inspiration for Robert Louis Stephenson´s “Treasure Island” A golfing venue not to be missed!

Gullane

Day 4
18 holes Gullane No2
Set on the shores of the Firth of Forth in beautiful East Lothian, Gullane offers three superb links courses, Gullane1, 2 and 3. Gullane No.1 frequently hosts final qualifying for the British Open when at Muirfield and has hosted many major amateur events. You will encounter tight fairways, pot bunkers, rough, gorse thickets and well guarded greens which make playing here a fair but serious challenge. Nowhere on the course do the panorama views get better than from the top of Gullane hill and the 7th tee, described by renowned writer Bernard Darwin as “one of the best views in golf” on a clear day one can see for miles with the Lammermuir Hills, Firth of Forth and the Bass Rock making up the stunning panorama. Gullane with 300 years of history is a “must play” for all golfers’.

Dunbar

Day 5
18 holes Dunbar

Dunbar designed by Old Tom Morris around 1850. Dunbar East Links situated on the estuary of the Firth of Forth, is a breathtaking layout of a championship links course that stretches across 6404 yards of coastal terrain. All of the major Scottish championships have been played here, the Scottish Amateur, Professional Championship and Scottish Boys Championship and the course has been used as an Open qualifier on several occasions in recent years. This is a classic links course with outstanding views of the May Island and the Firth of Forth.

North Berwick West

Day 6
18 holes North Berwick West
The 13th oldest Golf Club in the world, North Berwick is second only to the Royal and Ancient for continuous play over the same course. The West links was originally 6 holes, with a 7th added before it was extended to 18 holes in 1877. One of the most natural links in the world, North Berwick may not be the longest of courses at 6420 yards but rest assured that successful navigation requires the full repertoire of shot making. This is truly a fantastic links course, a round here is an experience that you’ll never forget.
